a foggy October morning by the river

One of my favorite ways to wake up is to wake up in a cloud. The other day I was lucky enough to experience a sunrise in a cloud, and it was so mesmerizing, I decided to go for what turned out to be a very long morning walk by the Ottawa River, because I just needed to stay until all the fog lifted. If you don't know this by now, I am a huge fan of fog- it makes even the ugliest places look mysterious and wondrous. Not that this was an ugly place- it wasn't, but it definitely became more interesting being submerged in clouds like that.
